Two children from a poor family are taken on the adventure of a lifetime when two strangers come to their door. The visitors are none other than the Norse gods Thor and Loki in disguise, on their way to the court of the Giant King at Utgard. Thor and Loki boast that they will show the giants once and for all that they are stronger, cleverer and braver than any giant. Little do they know what tricks the Giant King has in store for them. A fisherman rashly agrees to play a gambling game with a giant. When he loses his son to the giant, the fisherman calls on Odin and the Norse gods to help him. Can even the cunning Loki outwit the giant and keep the boy safe?
