Nurturing Faith and Knowledge:
Your Homeschool Journey Starts Here
Our Story
Quite some time ago, we began our own homeschooling adventure. We came to discover that many families shared our desire for a Christ-centered education but struggled to find their footing. This realization sparked the idea for "How to homeschool" workshops, which we hosted in our living room.
As our community grew, so did the need for quality, faith-friendly educational materials. What started as a humble lending library in our home soon blossomed into something much larger. Our passion for supporting homeschool families led us to partner with publishers, allowing us to offer a wider range of resources for purchase.
Over time, our collection expanded, outgrowing our living spaces and necessitating the construction of a dedicated shop in 2000. This growth reflects not just the increasing demand for homeschool resources, but also our unwavering commitment to serving families like yours.
Today, we stand as experienced homeschool educators, having guided our own children through high school and now witnessing our grandchildren's educational journeys.
Our online store is a testament to years of learning, teaching, and collaborating with homeschool families. We offer a carefully selected range of materials, from Patriotic Penmanship and Scripture Scribes to Spelling Strategies and Latin courses, all designed to honor God and simplify your teaching experience.

Directions
From Leesburg and further east:
Take Route 7 heading west. You will pass: all of the Leesburg exits, exits for Hamilton, Purcellville, and Round Hill. You will feel yourself go up the mountain. Just after you crest the mountain and begin descending the other side, look for Ebenezer Road on your left. (That is the road you want but you cannot make a left across the highway). Go past Ebenezer Road, make a safe u-turn, and turn right on to Ebenezer Road.
Drive 1 and 3/4 miles. On your left you will see a blue house. Right BEFORE the house is a driveway with two yellow posts and also a yellow sign: "Laurelwood Books". That is the driveway to the bookshop. Drive up, park at the top, and come on in!
From Winchester and further west:
Take route 7 head east. Pass Berryville. Cross the Shenandoah River. Take the 2nd true right (don't count driveways) at Ebenezer Road. Drive 1 and 3/4 miles. On your left you will see a blue house. Right BEFORE the house is a driveway with two yellow posts and also a yellow sign: "Laurelwood Books". That is the driveway to the bookshop. Drive up, park at the top, and come on in!
“It was basically out-of-the-box ready with very little to no teacher prep time. I appreciated that it offers solid learning, providing tons of Latin vocabulary explained well and without empty fluff. Every page is packed with new learning opportunities.”
