A Long time ago, when there was no electricity and the streetlights of Little Italy had to be lit, Peppe lived in a tenement on Mulberry Street. His family was poor, so even though he was just a boy he needed to find a job. But a job as a lamplighter was not the kind of work Papa imagined for his son.
